Why do I get "Failed to open stream: Permission denied." when I try to upload files?

liveSite does not have permissions to write to the ../livesite/files directory.  Please update the permission on the ../livesite/files directory so it is writable.  For example, in Unix, change the permissions for the directory to 777.
