Additional Shipping per quantity of products?

Is there a way to charge additional shipping for a certain *quantity* of a product (or a certain quantity of *ANY products*) or is it all done through Weight Points?

Also, is there a way to tack on an additional charge for a product from a product form, so that when a customor selects a certain feature for a prouduct, the additional charge is seen in the shopping cart or is present?
