OMG I wasn't expecting this what's wrong?

Posted by upchurchjm2 VIP on April 28, 2012

I don't want to be sending email campaigns with "HTTPS://upjowers.livesitehost.com/pages/email-a-friend"
I thought it would be HTTPS://www.upjowers.com/pages/email-a-friend" when I changed the site settings?

What's wrong - do I need to purchase a credit?

I've launched my website and am anxious to start an email campaign. Can you help me?

Have I done something wrong? Is this the way it is supposed to be?

You need to change the Hostname in the Site Settings from the temporary hostname to "www.upjowers.com" so liveSite knows how to built it's return URLs to your website. :)

I did that yesterday, does it take a day or two to get changed?

I went back and checked - the box for "host name" shows "www.upjowers.com" but up under the "Activate" button "upjowers.livesitehost.com" still shows up in the line of (i guess) options. Can it be fixed? Can it be changed? What else should I do?

Your settings are fine then. You also need to start only accessing your livesite control panel from www.upjowers.com in your browser.
