Commerce - catalog error

When we fill out the product page and then try to create the catalog, the catalog creates no links to the products so customers can't view products or add them to a shopping cart. We do have product pages, catalog details pages, everything, but it doesn't work. We're in version 7.1.1.

We managed to figure this out ourselves but are concerned that we did not get any help or response from Livesite.
