Language Translation

What exactly does this mean - from the feature list:

Site visitors can translate your website in real-time into any language they chose using the latest technology pioneered by Yahoo!.

How is this implemented in the tool? Or is this just a statement to say that anybody can come to our site, cut and paste the content over to Yahoo and get it translated?

We are interested in translating our site into a Spanish version as well and would like move information before we expend unnecessary energy in manual translation and site re-creation. Thank you.

It seems there is no answer to the question. This is important for non-English speaking people and sites. So, what exactly do you mean by Yahoo translation technology? Thanks in advance.
