php.ini file

Posted by umcwfb VIP on May 1, 2012

I need to know what code (exactly) you tried to modify in the php.ini file that you could not. Once I know this I will work to resolve that issue.

Steve, we are happy to report that we have resolved this problem for you. Unfortunately, your server administrator requires that you place a php.ini that enables Zend Optimizer in every directory that has a PHP file. We added a php.ini file to the /livesite/install/ directory which resolved the problem.

Please be aware that you might need to add additional php.ini files to any other directories that contain PHP files. For example, you need to add code to the php.ini file in the web root to enable Zend Optimizer. We tried to do this for you, but someone has set restrictive permissions on the file, so it would not let us update it for you.

We have used the one credit now. Please feel free to order additional credits if you need additional help.

Thank you,

We recommend looking at a php.ini file for a directory that works (e.g. /livesite or /livesite/install) and then using whatever code was in that php.ini file in your other php.ini files. We could not edit the php.ini file in your web root via FTP because of access control that was placed on that file by someone. Feel free to edit it yourself or contact your server administrator if you cannot.
