Downloading Excel in Contacts

I created a new contact group called “Purchased List.” I then populated this group with a list of 2000 e-mail addresses. The problem is an issue with Excel Spreadsheet. It loaded 29,000 “names,” 27,000 of which were blank. Now I cannot delete the group unless I eliminate all members of the group.

Can you delete the group for me so I can start over?

First, you can delete all the 29,000 errant contacts with one click by enabling "Mass Delete" in Site Settings. Take care when enabling this feature since you can easily delete ALL your contacts if not used properly (it will warn you). The Help page within that screen in liveSite will explain the details.

Second, your excel file may have saved extra "blank" rows in it which liveSite will import anyway. You need to save your Excel file as a CSV file, then open the CSV file with a text editor like NotePad, and make sure that you remove any trailing rows of blank data before importing the file into liveSite.
