Fonts Showing Up Different in Chrome

Hello - Thank you so much for LiveSite! I love the software, and this is my 3rd site (2nd for money) that I am making with it. It's great, and it allowed me to jump into web development, and learn a lot of HTML, CSS, PHP (needed to access a DB) along the way. The fonts in http://choicelandlocations.com/pages/BuildToSuit render differently in Chrome compared to Firefox, Safari, and IE8. The same fonts in Chrome are MUCH LARGER. And since I'm using LiveSite, I cannot deploy Chrome specific code. I'm hoping you guys can detect Chrome and send smaller fonts, OR you have buddies at Google you can call with this issue. Two more points: 1) I've also sent a note to Google about this. 2) I've rebooted my Chrome 26.0.1410.64. :) Best Regards, - ChoiceLandLocations P.S. I am selling items that require specific credentials to be provided to me prior to selling the items across state lines. I want to know what the best method will be in order to show the products but limit the consumers ability to purchase them until they have been approved to do so. I know I will probably have to make the pages private or limited to registered members or some description, but I need direction on the best way to do this. Please Help

Calendar View issue

I have two pages where my calendar links are not working and I can't figure out why? Near as I can tell, they are set up the same as other similar pages that work fine. Obviously, I'm missing something. On both pages, any click on a calendar link results in an error message that says "The requested calendar event is not allowed in this calendar event view." Mobile Switch - How can we force?

We are loading the website into an ibuildapp program iframe so that we can submit to itunes for distribution. Is there a short link or mobile link we can connect to in order to force the mobile version to show up? Currently the desktop version shows up...it doesn't recognize the mobile phone. Currently, the software just uses the same addy.

Creating separate Client, Classifieds and Forum registration/membership pages

Hello, my website is www.aspireadmin.com, I have been using Livesite for a while now, and still haven't figured out how to create separate register and log-in pages for different types of user access. I would like to have a main menu item labeled Clients, one for Forum, and another for Classifieds. However, I do not know how to do this and keep it separate. Is there any way that you would be able to help me with this, I really need this to work and need to do it fast!!! And I want to make it so that initially when they click on whichever main menu item applies to them (Client, forum or classifieds) that they will first be taken to a registration page, then be able to go to the log-in page, and so on. I really need some help with this...I am afraid I'm messing everything up trying to figure it out on my own!!! Thanks in advance!!!

Favicon

I need to change my site favicon. It needs to be applied to all of my LiveSite pages. I followed the directions on the Knowledge Base, however I was a bit unsure of the process. It says to place the favicon in the "site's root". What is this? I have FTP access to all my files, but I do not know where this is. I tried placing the favicon.ico in a few different directories, however I still get no image in the URL. So I tried the other method given. I uploaded the favicon.ico in 'Design > All Design Files' I am supposed to edit the "head" of something at this point.. The article on the knowledge base is unclear (to me, at least) as what the "head" is, or where it is located. I know there is a Head in HTML coding, but that is all I know. Help is appreciated, I have turned my back on other website builders, I am relying on this one.

Customization of System Region: Use Page

There are several things I would like to change and customize in various system regions. For example: sizes, colors, orientation of elements, etc... in calender system regions, login system regions, e-commerce system regions, etc.. Right now, there is no way to activate a Rich-Text-Editor or get within these System Region: Use Page areas (besides certain properties in the Theme Designer). This would be the most powerful feature I could utilize for my various sites. Is this going to be possible in an upcoming liveSite release or anything?

HostGator QuickInstall update to v8.5

I have several sites that need to be updated from v8.0.0 to v8.5. I am hosting with HostGator and have installed the liveSite script via their QuickInstall application. However, when I contacted them about the update, they came back with this: "The QuickInstaller has not accepted it as a stable version or one that will be integrated in the updater." It was a pretty painstaking process updating from v7.3 to v8.0 (we had Michael update our sites in the Dallas office). Are there efforts being made with HostGator to allow this automatic upgrade? I know there is an article in the KnowledgeBase about manually updating to the newest version... a walk-through video tutorial would be better in explaining things I think. Anyone able to help?

I can't login Version 7.3

I am the administrator of ensleylaw.com. I have not upgraded yet and still have version 7.3. I have not been able to login (no such option anymore) and therefore, I am unable to make any changes to my website (can't enter edit mode at all). Dear sir I down load your program livesite-8.5.0-php-5.2 in 11/5/2013 and upload to my site hosted by IPage and install it but when I try to start it give me an error page after I ask Ipage support they say that Currently the page at http://www.alasdkaa.com/lives/livesite/ is loading fine. However, http://www.alasdkaa.com/lives/pages/staff-home is coming up blank. Per the error in the error log the issue is causing due to zend Optimizer. Seems like the script requires higher version of Optimizer. I would request you to please contact your application vendor and ask them to provide the application that works in Zend Optimizer v3.2.0. please advice me

emails from new contact us form

Zip file not uploading

I have a number of jpeg images I am uploading to our site. I have created a zip file containing them all and go to the file upload... go through the steps to upload the file but after I click on Upload the system sits for a few minutes then the screen re-sets without uploading the file. This has always been the case anytime I attempt to upload a zip file. I can upload the images one at a time with no problem, but with 100+ images it's a real pain in the neck. any ideas how to fix this?

RE-ORDER ISSUES

I have a customer who told me that they tried to use the re-order feature and when they put in their card info, checked the terms and conditions button and hit submit they got a message that said he didn't have permission to view the page. I checked all the pages and they are all in the Registered Guests folder and of course he was logged in correctly since he was able to access the file in the first place. As an alternative he just canceled that and went through the normal procedure like he was ordering for the first time and everything worked fine. I take it there is nothing happening on my card processing side since it's all the same info (he's a re-occurring customer). Thoughts? J

when someone submits a contact us form i see it show up multiple times in my forms section. I don't see anything different from one to the other. As a test of my understanding, I exported a contact with an exisiting order. I then updated the contacts phone number and then imported it back to liveSite. The import went fine in terms of the phone number change, however, the associated order no longer shows up when I click on View Order from the Edit Contact page.
